Puma Merchandise Racks

LIA was contracted to assist in the retrofit and redesign of the existing light gauge steel racks used across the nation by the retail company. The retrofit was required to eliminate on-site mobility problems caused by deflection tolerances at the base of the units. This required careful consideration of the existing unit while maximizing installation speed and minimizing cost. The redesign included a fix to the originally retrofitted issue as well as the analysis of a seismic bracing system for the units.
